Our school aim is to offer a broad and balanced curriculum that allows all pupils to develop their talents and ambitions. This ensures that all teaching and learning opportunities are facilitated to the highest level with subject specialists and excellent teaching support teams. Within each department schemes of work and development of skills, knowledge and assessment are key indicators of this which allow staff and pupils assess and celebrate progress throughout their learning journey.
Within each department page you will be able to access curriculum maps that outline the development of skills throughout KS3 and KS4 with clarity of how these skills develop over time and enable pupils to become in independent learner who is ready for continued learning beyond their time at Abbey Park School.
