On Tuesday afternoon we were joined by three local primary schools to Listen to author Ali Sparkes.

Ali took us back in time to her youth with tales of how she was bottom of the class for reading and writing. We followed her tale of how she fell in love with reading, became a writer for the BBC and eventually, after A LOT of rejections, published her first novel. Now having written over 50 novels she is one of our best loved authors. The children, and adults had a wonderful time and left feeling very inspired!
