Mental Health Week   10th - 16th May 2021


This week is Mental Health awareness week. In the current climate this is even more important. We know this year has been a tough Year for everyone and we all need to look after ourselves and each other.

Our pupils mental health continues to be a priory for all staff at Abbey Park School.

Last week pupils had an assembly on Mental health, delivered by our school counsellor, offering advice on how to spot the signs and what to do if struggling.

Each week pupils also have a wellbeing Wednesday Tutor session which walks them through different mindfulness activities to support them with their mental health.

This Year Mental Health UK is asking everyone to immerse themselves in the ‘5 ways to wellbeing’. We have included the link below if you would like to take a closer look at some strategies and advice.
