KS4 Student Council Parliament Trip

Our Student Council travelled to Westminster for a tour of the Houses of Parliament on Friday.  A good day was had by all and a sense of privilege being shown around this historic building.  Students learnt about our democratic processes as well as some fascinating trivia.  Who knew that there were fake fireplaces installed for Churchill’s cigar ash or that Queen Victoria’s statue is the largest of all so as to detract from her short stature?

Thanks Year 10 and 11 – you were great!
