Year 8 STEM Event

On Friday 15th July, year 8 pupils were involved in a STEM challenge event. The pupils spent the afternoon in groups, working collaboratively together to design, build and test a paper bridge. The pupils were mainly highly engaged in the task and showed fantastic problem-solving skills. We were overwhelmed by how creative the pupils were and how resilient they were when given the challenge. All groups produced brilliant designs. It was VERY hard to judge the winners.

Half of the year group did the challenge in the hall and the other half in the gym.

Overall winners- 8H2- J. Sanchez, M. Rahman, L. Roberts, A. Slater-Cook, L. Langston and A. Taylor.
